Red Nose Day Preparation
Today in preparation for Red Nose Day residents helped decorate some yummy cupcakes with the assistance of our activities team. At Riverside we are planning some internal fundraising for the day and these cakes will be included in our staff cake sale. They look absolutely delicious with a cherry on the top to represent a red nose; we really can’t wait to taste them on Friday! Comic Relief is such an incredible organization trying to promote a just world free of child poverty; aiming to bring about positive and lasting change in the lives of poor and disadvantaged people. We feel it is an important event to support. It is a charity that promotes having fun and making people laugh all in order to raise money for an important cause; which is exactly what we will be doing tomorrow with lots of fun games planned for the residents.
