Egg Decorating

This week with the chicks hatching we have been feeling the Easter spirit at Riverside. So there has been no better time to start our Easter themed activities. Resident have been using their craft skills to decorate eggs; the more messy and glittery the better. The finished eggs look amazing, with bright colours and fun designs. We will be using them in our Easter decorations which will be displayed all around the home. This is a great opportunity for residents to actually use their hands and imaginations. With their creative skills they have produced something to be proud of.

My husband has been in Riverside Nursing Home in Sherborne for five months now. He took a few weeks to settle down in his new surroundings at first but now has got to know the Staff. The Nurses, Carers, the Chef, all have been so kind, respectful, most of all understanding the needs of not only the residents but their families.
