Christmas PJ Day at Riverside

Staff dressed down in their festive pyjamas for fun on Christmas Eve. This helped everyone at Riverside to properly embrace the Christmas spirit. We have all been humming and singing Christmas songs all day, as well as jingling about wearing Santa hats. A big thankyou to all the staff for making this festive season so enjoyable. All the hard work and lovely gestures over the last few weeks has helped tremendously to make Christmas special for our residents in such a difficult time. We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2021.

My husband has been in Riverside Nursing Home in Sherborne for five months now. He took a few weeks to settle down in his new surroundings at first but now has got to know the Staff. The Nurses, Carers, the Chef, all have been so kind, respectful, most of all understanding the needs of not only the residents but their families. Only recently we enjoyed an outing to Weymouth organised by the Activities Co-ordinator. Matron Judith Maidment waved us off as our special coach left Riverside. Thank you all
