Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas
At Riverside this week we started making our Christmas cake; a key sign it must be the beginning of the festive period. Residents helped with all aspects of the task, the lining of the tin at the beginning of the week and mixing the cake ingredients on Friday. The decoration is yet to come.
It was a great excuse for everyone to soak up the Christmas atmosphere listening to festive music and singing favourite carols whilst participating in this great tradition.
All of the participating residents jumped at the chance to stir the mixture and make a special secret Christmas wish. Let’s hope all our Christmas wishes come true this year.
We already anticipate the excitement of tucking into the cake on Christmas Day.
