Birthdays at Riverside
The last few weeks have seen some of our incredible residents hit some big and exciting milestones in their life. We have all enjoyed the celebrations and eaten far too much cake. For us it is really important that we celebrate every birthday with style and make sure our residents enjoy their special day. All staff members and other residents always try to raise the roof by singing ‘Happy Birthday’ at the top of our voices and of course as tunefully as we possibly can. A birthday celebration truly does wonders at bringing people together and providing positive energy. It also provides us with a plausible excuse to have delicious treats and chocolates.
It is with delight that we are still allowed to invite visitors to Riverside, to share special days with loved ones. It is also wonderful to see residents showered with presents and cards. To see the big smiles on their faces on their birthday is such a lovely thing to witness. We have several more birthdays to come in the coming months, lots more cake to eat and lots more celebrations to enjoy (even with Covid lockdown upon us).
