Bus Trip to Ham Hill
Riverside residents this Tuesday had a very exciting bus trip to Ham Hill, on the way we took the country roads through East Coker, Odcombe and even past Sutton Bingham Reservoir (which some shrewdly remembered from one our previous bus trips) to reach our final destination of the stunning rolling hills in Somerset. We enjoyed a charming little picnic of sandwiches, crisps and cake whilst seemingly looking upon the whole of the county. In the distance we could spot the villages of Stoke Sub-Hamdon and Montacute, with some of the residents having spent their childhood visiting these quaint Somerset villages. It was a stunning day; we were extremely lucky with the glorious sunshine. Residents absolutely love exploring and witnessing lovely views such as this, after the year we have had it is simply just great to be out and about again. We look forward to more exciting trips to come.
